Dive into the craft of espresso brewing with your colleagues.
Step behind the bar and receive hands-on training in the art of espresso. Together with one of our experienced baristas, you will explore the techniques behind a well-brewed espresso; the foundation of most milk-based coffee drinks such as cappuccino and cortado.
The course covers the essential techniques needed to brew espresso, whether at the office or at home. You will learn about grinding, dosing, distribution and tamping, and gain an understanding of how each element of the process influences the flavour in the cup.
Along the way, we will taste espresso together and discuss aroma, mouthfeel and how to fine-tune your brewing to achieve the desired result. There will also be an opportunity to work with milk steaming and try the technique in practice.
The course is highly hands-on and takes place in small groups, with plenty of time for questions and one-on-one guidance.
