At Coffee Collective, we see every cup as an opportunity to create something beautiful. Our Latte Art Course is designed for those who want to dive deeper into the craft of coffee-making and learn the techniques that can transform a cup into a work of art.
During our hands-on sessions, you'll work closely with our skilled baristas, who are eager to share their knowledge and passion for latte art. By the end of the course, you will not only understand the techniques behind each design but also feel confident to continue practising on your own.
We recommend this course for anyone with a basic understanding of espresso equipment, whether from our introductory espresso course, home brewing, or other experience. This foundation will help you get the most out of the course and enhance your learning journey.
Milk Steaming: Steaming milk is at the heart of great latte art. You will learn how to achieve the perfect texture and temperature for your milk, ensuring a smooth and silky base for your designs. Our baristas will guide you through the steaming process, sharing tips on how to create the microfoam needed for detailed patterns.
Precision Pouring: We will walk you through pouring techniques, from creating simple centred circles to more intricate designs. You will also learn how to split milk for even foam distribution across two cappuccinos.
Signature Designs: Start with the basics and work your way up. You will begin by mastering the classic 'centred circle' and 'heart', before moving on to more complex patterns like 'tulips' and the intricate 'rosetta'.
