Espresso course

- All brewing equipment — brewers, filters, scales, filtered water, coffee beans, etc.
- Tasting different coffees in a professional cupping
- Go through different brewing methods on Espro French Press, Aeropress, and Kalita Wave
- Learning about your coffee grinder, grind setting, and extraction theory 
- Intimate course with a skilled barista - time to ask questions and to fine-tune

- Course of 1.5 hours
- Short tour of our coffee roastery 
- Introduction to Coffee Collective, Direct Trade and Sustainability in Coffee Trade
- Brief presentation of what it takes to produce quality coffee at all stages of coffee farms, for coffee roasters and baristas 
- Tasting 6-8 different coffees in a professional cupping
- Learning about coffee tasting with a focus on taste, aroma and mouthfeel

**Milk Steaming:** Steaming milk is at the heart of great latte art. You will learn how to achieve the perfect texture and temperature for your milk, ensuring a smooth and silky base for your designs. Our baristas will guide you through the steaming process, sharing tips on how to create the microfoam needed for detailed patterns.

**Precision Pouring:** We will walk you through pouring techniques, from creating simple centred circles to more intricate designs. You will also learn how to split milk for even foam distribution across two cappuccinos.

**Signature Designs:** Start with the basics and work your way up. You will begin by mastering the classic 'centred circle' and 'heart', before moving on to more complex patterns like 'tulips' and the intricate 'rosetta'.

- A cup of filter-coffee on arrival
- Tasting different coffees in a professional cupping
- Theoretical and technical explanation of coffee roasting led by our skilled coffee roaster
- Introduction to how Coffee Collective ensures a high-quality coffee
- A practical roasting workshop on the sample roaster in our coffee roastery
- 100-200g roasted coffee of your own creation, which you can enjoy at home

Roasting course

- Duration: 3 hours
- 6—8 participants
- Review of home equipment and inspiration for setting up
- Training in Coffee Collective's approach to espresso brewing
- Tasting of one selected coffee in many variations
- Training by an experienced barista — with plenty of time for sparring and fine-tuning

- Duration: 1.5 hours (for 10-15 participants) or 2 hours (for up to 20

participants)

- Guided tour of the roastery
